terms of service.

please make sure to read and understand everything here before commissioning me.

I reserve the right to turn down a commission for any reason and I do not have to state why.
You must be 18+ to commission me.
You must always provide credit wherever the commissioned art is used. Failure to do so after one warning will result in a permanent blacklist and ban. Credit can be provided via a link to this website, or preferably my toyhouse account (if uploading the art to toyhouse).
Do not use my art for NFTs.
Terminology: for clarification, "the art" refers to the image I create for a commission; "the design" refers to the character concept, information, and visual details I create for a commission
I own the art I create, no matter what. You may not make direct alterations to my artwork; resizing and cropping is fine provided my signature is intact and credit is provided.
Once you commission a design, you own that design (not the art I draw). Details on what is permitted are included in the Design TOS section up next.
I may display commissioned designs in my gallery on this site and/or post them to my social media for portfolio and example purposes. Unless explicitly stated, I will assume you, the commissioner, are okay with this. Please tell me if you aren’t and we can work something out.

I am willing to give most designs a shot; short of the things listed in my Will Not Draw section, I’ll attempt pretty much anything.
Once you commission a design from me and receive the final, that design is yours. You can create a character for it, put it into any universe you like, and make edits.
However, edits may not render the design unrecognisable and must not alter my original artwork.
When posting artwork of design for the first time, you must credit me regardless of the number of edits made. Likewise, I would appreciate it if you credit me as the original designer in reference sheets of the character.
You may not create a closed species out of any of my designs.

You may not create a character in any of my species without a MYO (Make Your Own) slot. MYOs do not expire, and the design must be approved by me before it is official. Methods for acquiring these slots are outlined in the species’ section.
You may, at any point, choose to move a design from one of my species to a non-species design; however, it must look completely distinct from the species it is leaving and have no ties to what it was.
Once moved, the slot is voided and may not be used again; your character may not be re-transitioned back into the species. Please be certain before you do this!
There are no refunds for MYOs.
My species may be traded; however, there is a two-week cooldown after a character is acquired, no matter the means of acquisition.
Proof of ownership is required to trade, and I must be alerted that ownership has changed hands.

Body horror, scars, blood and some gore, eye horror (not trauma), and spooky/horror elements in general.
Mechanical, robotic, or futuristic designs. Heavy mech (along the lines of Transformers or gundams) will need to be discussed beforehand.
Humanoid, furry, or quadruped bodyplans.
Varied body types.
Weaponry (guns are a maybe, please discuss with me).
Insectoid, piscine or invertebrate bodyplans. I’m willing to try anything, as long as rough reference is provided.
I will happily work from a song, a palette, a photo, or even a word or a vibe. I do well with vagueness and free rein, as long as I have something to work from. Song designs are some of my favourites to do.

I struggle with pastel palettes; if you provide me with a pastel palette that’s absolutely fine, but I have a very hard time coming up with these palettes on my own.
MYO designs for closed species. Provided the species has very clear design guides and allows you to commission designs for MYO slots, I’m happy to take a look. There are some I’m either not comfortable with or can’t reliably draw, so please make sure to check!
Fancharacters. This one is iffy; it will be on a very case-by-case basis. Generally, I’m happy to design fakemon (this does require discussion as to how the design will be used), though anything else will require discussion.
Redesigns of existing characters. I require proof of ownership as well as proof that the previous designer allows redesigns or rehauls of their designs.

NSFW/kink designs.
Hateful imagery.
Eye trauma (damage to eyes) or pregnancy of any kind. I will refuse your commission and likely blacklist you if you request either of these. This is an incredibly hard line for me.
Humans. I cannot draw humans reliably; perhaps in the future, but this is not something I can currently offer.
Traditionally cute things. If you want a creepy angle I can definitely do that, but I am not the person to draw you a cute pastel pink cat with nothing bizarre going on.
Extremely specific requests. I cannot work with hyper-specific requirements; if you come to me with every detail planned out, chances are I will have to turn you down.
